Has anyone else had this when making a pdf from InDesign? When I open it up in Acrobat it gives me this error and only parts of the design show. The design only has a couple of basic shapes with shadow applied.

I have tried creating the pdf in various compatible settings but to no avail - please help!

Thanks

ok just incase anyone else comes across this error I will post to tell you how i fixed it:

Basically the problem was a rectangle which had a gradient that went 40% black to 70% of a pantone colour. I presume by this you shouldn't make gradients with pantone colours blending into cmyk colour.

So I changed the pantone into the equivalent cmyk (luckily it was fairly close) and it fixed it instantly.

Job done :)
