Hi

I have reinstalled Netbackup 3.4 on a Solaris T1405 system after a system crash. There is also a P1000 tape library connected. The library has 3 DLT7000 drives inside. After installation I ran sgscan all and it only picks up one DLT drive and the P1000 (as well as the SCSI disks). I have followed the instructions in the device config manual invoking a reboot -- -r each time, but I still cannot see the other two DLT drives. Any ideas?

Cheers.

Jon

1) What is the output from probe_scsi_all command?
2) Check the scsi address of the other two tape drives, make sure there are no scsi id conflicts.
3) Make sure the drives are terminated.
4) Are the drives being initialized at the OS level, check /var/adm/messages for output after reboot.

StickyBit.
