SGI O2 Network problem

Hi

I'm having trouble getting my newly purchased O2 on my network . I've entered the correct ip address , netmask and gateway . When running diagnostics i get the following error message :

Hardware failure detected in MACE I2C Register test

As far as I know this is the ethernet controller . Does this mean that I have to replace the motherboard or get an extra network card .

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi,

Remove the system board and reseat it correctly. Works fine. otherwise replace the board.
