Does anyone have experience of setting a sftp connection up?
I can connect to the sfp server on the remote host, get as far as being prompted for a username and password (or password if user is specified), but it does not accept my password.
Is there possibly a control file/s somewhere (like wu-ftp's ftpusers and ftpaccess) which could be denying me login rights, or do I need to provide a client key or place a server public key somewhere? A first time connection does the same as ssh, it prompts to save the public key from the server, afterwards the prompt never displays again.
But somehow I think the issue is a password authentication issue, any ideas? IBM Certified Specialist - MQSeries
