Has anyone used SFTP (Simple File Transfer Protocol) to successfully backup config files?

I don't know what's supposed to happen when I generate a key. When I "Transfer Public Key", nothing happens. It looks as if it is suppoesed to create a file that I can put on the SFTP server, but nothing happens?? I gave it a name, but that doesn't do anything.

I realize that it's one of those things you get to work once, and you're good to go, but I am not understanding how to get SSH/SFTP to work.

Oh and by the way, this is a BCM 50 running 2.0.
