SFC file checker in Windows 2KP 1

All,

when i try to install my office 2000 cd, i get an error "windows SFC requires your service pack 3 cd, please insert it now"

I have looked for items on microsofts website pertaining to the sfc / commands, but they don't seem to make any difference, I changed the registry values also, but it now seems to come up with the same error each time i load windows up, asking for the same cd each time...

any ideas anyone? i am really stuck!! lol

it was installed months ago!!

Reinstall it ,, may be some files were curropted by another kind of installation

ok, reinstalling appears to have fixed it!
