I need to bind the controls of my form to a table I have created. The field list button is greyed out because, when I created the form, I didn't base it on the table. Is it possible to do this now? Any other way of getting around this?

Right click to bring up properties in the forms desgin view. Go to the far, top left hand corner of the design view. (Where the rulers meet) and click it. Now you're looing at the forms properties. Go to the data tab and use the drop down on the record source field to choose your table or query. Tyrone Lumley

DBGuy,

How is it that in 5 years of using Access I never noticed that little grey box to select the whole form/report while in design view?! Have a star!
