somenoe calls you it does not ring
HELP

Ran into this problem on a mini remote once:

The problem was determined to be in the power supply. It contains the ring generator. Once we swapped the power supply, all was well.

I'd swap the phones that are not ringing with phones that do, before I swap PSes. If the working phones don't ring, you've go a hardware issue. Might be worth moving the phones to a different port if possible...

check the system monitor for the column. the power for the ring generator is set up by the system monitor card.

Disable the main sys mon (tty 0) and pull the system monitor card and see if it works.

I was told (by the vendor) that I need to replace the power supply for the ring generator : Northern Telecom QUAA3C ; the problem is that the vendor replaced the power supply and it was a DOA part so we are back to square 1
