Hello,

Our company was just given an on SCO unix 5.0.2 box that a company needs some files off of.

I have very little Unix experience.

What I want to do is get the box on our network (win2k) and just ftp the files to one of our servers.

What steps would be involved in doing this or is their an easier way.

Thanks,
Lance

TCP/IP is installed and configured?
You have password(s)

run netconfig and configure it with an ip for your subnet
ftp into the box and get what you want

First think is you need to find out it 5.0.2 is the host or enterprise. Only Enterprise comes with TCPIP. if its HOST forget. You can check this by typing "scoadmin software" from the #.
