setup trouble with MOM reporting services

Hi everybody,
we have installed SQL reporting services on server A and now like to install MOM reporting on Server B which also hosts the MOM Mgmt.-Server and the MOM-DB.

But when the point comes where we have to provide the name of the server hosting the MOM DB setup always fails with the message: "cannot connect to MOM database on server".

Any ideas ?

I don't understand. If ServerB is your live MOM database which is also a Mgmt Server (not recommended) then your MOM reporting server should be on the same server as SQL Reporting Services (ServerA)
