Our company is going to be migrating all offices from Exchange 5.5 to Lotus Notes. What I need to do is setup a lab enviornment to test and document our current exchange 5.5 in migrating over to Notes.

I need to setup the test exchange server to have a different name, than what is being used. Since I want to use the backup of the current exchange server.

I've searched tek-tips and Microsoft support, but have been able to see a process that describes doing this.

Thanks,
Sean

If it's in a test environment then why not give it the same name as the production server?

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

Exactly! A test lab should NEVER be conected to the 'real' LAN, plus, if you would change anything, it would not reflect the real migration.
