If you do a setup and config only e0 what else do you need to do before you can ping pc's from the router..
 
Make sure it's on the same subnet, right mask and that it's not administratively shutdown. When the port is up, you should be able to ping away with great enthusisam :)

As indicated in the previous question . Make sure that the gateway on the pc's are setup correctly . on E0 did you setup an Ip ( ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 )
again make sure that E0 is no shut . Thats all you really need other than making sure
you have link to E0 . This should work . [sig][/sig]
 

Funny thing.. Seems you have to have those funny little transcievers.. haha.. the books are good but they leave out the basic harware stuff.. its all good now.. thanx
