Hi All,
I've got a wonderful problem...
I have written a project (in VB.NET) and now I would like to deploy it, so I added a Setup Project to my Solution.
Everything works fine, I have all the necessary dependencies.
When I try to generate the project... AARGH!!!
I get a generation error and that's it! No other helpful messages, nothing.
I've searched the MSDN and the whole WWW, nothing helps me.
I'm using Windows 2000 Pro SP2 (French). I've verified that the Windows Installer Service is correctly installed (though the service does not run continuously!?).
I've created a very simple project and try again, and I always get the same error.
I can create CAB files ok though, but that does not bring in all the dependencies!
Has anyone out there experienced the same misery?
Help! Please!!!
Thanks,
phirst.

I have added a setup project to my solution, than i have added Project Output to the setup project (binary files) and it works

Best Regards
ALMI
