I'm trying to setup NFUSE 1.6 on a Separate Machine (Win2k Adv Server) to access a Farm of XP Machines (Win2k Adv Server).
I'm running the NFuse Extensions Setup from the NFUSE1.6 CD
to update the IIS Installation on my non-Metaframe machine
during the Installation I have set the XML Service to use the same port as HTTP:80 - same setting as the rest of the Farm (all set to Sharing with HHTP).
Anyway Background over, it doesnt work, hence the Thread :)
My Questions to my peers are...
1) Do I need to Install XML some how on the non-XP Machine,if so how?
2) Do I need to Install XP on the non-XP Machine
and disable logins?
I have tried this on test machines and the Setup works but as soon as I try it in production it doesnt work - soooo typical.

Dont be fooled computers feel your angst !!!

The answers to 1 and 2 are both no - but this raises a question;

If it works on your test machines...(I think the question's obvious!)

Things to check are stuff like DNS settings on the clients - can the client ping the NFuse server with the -a switch?

You SHOULD be able to get to the NFuse page by typing http://[NFuseServerName] in a browser.

In what way does it not work? Any error messages?

Hi Citrix Engineer
I get the NFuse Login Page (using DNS as well), the problem
comes in After login I get thrown back to the Login Page with the error below shown in the HTML.

ERROR: The Citrix Server sent HTTP headers indicating an error occurred. 500 Server Error[color]

I have also tried using Columbia 6 with the same results.

PS Columbia is GR8 (on other machines :))
