Ok well here is a really simple question for most of you guys.

I have 2 computers one is a laptop with windows xp and the other is a desktop with windows xp and laptop will not move anywhere so its almost as if its a desktop. I have a cable connection which goes to a netgear pr614 router and sends me the connections to the two computers. Now i get internet to both of them but i CANNOT share any files. Could someone help me with this and show me what to connect where so i can get this running. Thank you.

This is better addressed in the XP forum779 You need to set the two computers in a workgroup and have a shared user on both machines.
