Setup Linux RH8 Server with XP Clients

I'm going to attempt to setup RedHat Linux 8 Server on a Network and have the Client computers running XP.

I have never used Linux before. What are the Basic steps in order to get file sharing between these computers?

Someone told me that I would have to run Samba.

Are there any "simple" guides that would show me how to do this.

If you're new to Linux you may want to try webmin. It's a web based Linux configuration utility that works pretty well. You can setup Samba and many other things with it.
