Setup Https for mail

I have sendmail up and running with squirrel mail for web based email. I would like to setup the webmail to use https in stead of http.

Any ideas?

 
I take it that you are using apache ... why not just use the https protocol instead of http from the browser - the specific http protocol handling is down to the container/web server and the browser - not the web application.

Yes I am using Apache and that is what I am trying to do could you supply instructions on what to change.
