Usually I'm pretty good at tracking down why a number is ringing somewhere I don't want it to, but today must be one of those days.
Recently, I received a new block of numbers from my provider. I wanted to set up one of those numbers as a fax mailbox. 6259 is the extension I am trying to get to work like our other fax mailboxes.
When I dial one of the other fax numbers, I receive the fax tones. When I dial this new number, the call is going to our receptionist's phone. If I assign 6259 to a phone, the extension will ring (internal and from an external line).
I've deregistered the DN and uncheck keep-alive.
Any insight to what I'm missing here?
Thanks!
