Setup FAX DIDs

I'm not sure what the "correct" method to setup a fax DID to my voicemail box is... I have my extension say 8383, and my fax DID, 8393 ... How can I assign it to my "phone" or VM box without making the phone ring when someone calls ... I guess I just want the VM to cover without a true extension? Am I thinking to hard about this?

In your voicemail box, assigned the target line for your fax ddi in the express messaging tab

Also, set the prime set for the express messaging line to the pilot DN of the voicemail.

In the BCM 50, you can configure the line as "fax only". In BCM 3.5 through 3.7, the express messaging line will answer with the voicemail greeting instead of a fax tone. If you need it to answer with a fax tone, Nortel needs to dial into the system and make changes. It's not user configurable until release 4.0.
