setup Dialog 4425 with vlan

Hi,
We are struggling to get some Dialog 4425 setup with VLANS and looking to the real Ericsson experts to help me out.

I have Dialog 4425 ip phone anc cisco catalyst 2960 switch
Witout vlan avrything work fine, but I need to setup vlan in the network
Ip phone (vlan x) and user desktop (vlan y) should be in diferent Vlan
I would like to know

1. if Dialog 4425 can support Voice vlan X like cisco ip phone
switchport access vlan x
switchport voice vlan y
2. Or should I configure specific vlan each ip phone
Network - LAN access control - VLAN for LAN Port x
- VLAN for PC Port y

In the case 2 how should I configure cisco switch port ?

I case 1 and 2 how should I configure cisco IPBX port ?

You can google and find that IP handsets support voice/data VLAN tagging, you can make the request from the handset or tag the local switch port. Your questions are regarding Cisco config, not the handset. You may be better trying a cisco forum on how to configure the switch ports?

Hi,
You may need to edit config file of IP phones and probably also use DHCP options to send software server and vlan id to phones (CPI DOC or Alex will show how can you do it) and config accordingly your vlan needs.
[L2QOS] ;If any of the 3 first parameters shall be used all those 3 parameters must be enabled
PhonePort=6,1 ;prio (0-7) ,VID(1-4095)
PCPort=0,2 ;prio (0-7) ,VID(2-4095)
LANPort=0,0 ;0=VLAN not used and 1=VLAN used, 0= VLAN not used for PC and 1=VLAN used for PC
BroadcastStormControlLimit=80 ;Limit for no. of broadcast packets received within 100ms time interval. Default is 80 (800 b.c./s)
RememberVLAN=WARM ;WARM = Remember VLAN ID only after warm reboot, COLD = Remember VLAN ID after both warm and cold reboot.

I am really confuse, it is my first time to work on ericsson equipment and I don't know anythinh about [L2QOS] orany other parameter
Do you mean that I should edit and configure the config file in the PBX ?
It is not possible to configure Vlan directly on each IP phone ?
Now the DHCP option is not enabled on the phone

I want to use Vlan 40 for voice and vlan 50 for DATA
See below the cisco switch port configuration
interface FastEtherent0/1
switchport mode access
switchport access vlan 50
switchport voice vlan 40

Do I need absolutly to acivate DHCP ?
Please wich configuration and modification should I do to configure Vlan 40 for voice and vlan 50 for DATA
Please advise
