setup dial by name directory ux5000

so let me start off by saying i have only logged into an NEC system once. I work for a nortel, (now avaya) and toshiba dealer. We have one client with a ux5000 that wants to get the dial by name directory activated.

I searched the programming manual but could not find anything.

can anyone point me in the right direction?
