Setup Announcement? is it possible?

Hi Guys

Is there any way to setup an Announcement where multiple user's can call a number at the same time to hear an update on say a system upgrade? I'm currently using Callpilot version 4.0. I originally thought you could just setup an announcement on a voicemail box but it seems only one person can access the message at any one time

The number that the users call to hear the announcement - is it an ACD DN or is it on a TN?

You'll have to configure an announcement only application.

set up your dn that customer will be calling either as a dummy acd that ncfw to CP main messaging dn or a phantom TN that dcfw to CP main messaging dn.

add that same dn to the sdn table and associate it the announcement only application.
