setup a ddi to go straight a voicemail box 1

Hopefully a simple one, I have a mitel 3300 and how it all works is a mystery as it was setup by someone who since left the company. I have no information on it other than the login.

What we want to do, is have a direct dial number that when called goes straight to a voicemail box. Im at a loss how to do this without needing a phone, we dont wont to have a phone sitting there that simply just to go to voicemail. I hope im making sense. :/

create hunt group with no members just a pilot number(DID). Create a voice mailbox number that matches the huntgroup number. Reroute the huntgroup number to voicemail for all modes.

thanks. How do i reroute the huntgroup number to voicemail? Im currently getting a number is temporarily out of order message

thats because there are no members in the hunt group so system doesn't know where to send the call.
Go to call rerouting always alternative, select a number that is not in use (that doesn't have a destination in the right hand box) but don't use number 1! select reroute on all 4 radial buttons and put the voicemail pilot number in the destination box (look at the others as there may already be one setr up). Make a note of the reroute number lets say 11.
Go to call rerouting assignment and search for your new hunt group number, click change and in the reroute for day, NS1 and NS2 set all three to 11 save and test.
