Hi guys,

There are about 10 workstations in my office and I'm currently looking at upgrading from 56K dial up to wireless broadband. Am thinking of getting all-in-one ADSL box and subscribe to the broadband provider.

Can anyone advise what are the other hardwares needed? Are there any website to refer to? What is the most reliable hardware for SOHO? Any network diagram to refer to?

Please advise. Thanks.

Cheers,

Is there any reliable wireless router cum firewall cum accesspoint? What are the other wireless cardbus and PCI adaptor that you would recommend?

Please advise. Thanks.

For a small office I would probably recommend the Linksys 802.11g wireless router/switch/firewall (model# WRT54G). For wireless cards I would also probably recommend Linksys.

I'm not terribly fond of Netgears equipment. I've had issues with their routers and NICs, and thier tech support is terrible. Just my $.02 anyways.

Hi,
I recently installed a wireless because because I wanted to move my PC from one room to another and didn't want to re-wire the house and I wanted to be able to surf the web via by PDA.

I used the network wizard on and got plenty of options and good advice.

I followed their recommendations and how have a very robust and elegant wireless network solution.
