I am looking to setup a VPN host in a small office for remote access by the employees from home. Existing currently is a win2k local domain and five workstations. This office has static IP's for all computers provided by the ISP, so the PDC is not running DHCP. They use a public IP scope with a subnet of 255.255.255.240. I have a feeling that I am going to run into some problems durring setup.

Some questions I have:

Do I need two network adapters in the PDC?

Do I need to run DHCP services for the VPN clients to get the IP's they need?

Do I need to set up IPsec tunnels and rules?

Once the clients get their IP address from the VPN host, will they be able to browse the network of computers that have public addresses and different subnet?

Any help would be appreciated

What do you want your employees to be able to do while they are at home? Do they just need access to files, or do you want them to do remote desktop to there workstations?

Hey thanks for responding.

From home the employees would just need to be able to browse the network and have the network resources available to them.

Remote desktop is not necessary.

Remote desktop would be the simplest and offer higher performance provided there is broadband at either end.
