I am installing windows200 advances server. This is intented as a test enviroment, but exist on the network of a existing domain. How do I go about creating this installation as a seperate win2k domain, apart from the currently existing PDC. The idea is that I could log into that win2k domain from a workstation but have it invisible and unavailable as an option for members of the existing domain (under the domain drop down list box in the logon screen)
I would like to keep this test win2k domain seperate from the production enviroment.
Secondly, would I need domain admins rights on the existing domain to do this. (ie domain admin rights on the non win2k network)

Install it as a child domain within your domain. Then from the workstation, include it in the list of available network identities.
