Hi guys ... just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this for me.
Im trying to setup a VPN between my home-office and my other remote office.
At home I have Windows 2003 Server eunning RAS,DHCP DNS etc.
Brief Diag of Setup:
-----------------------------------------------------
Home office
10.10.10.1/24 Router (Linksys) (stiatic global address 195.248.119.1xx) >>>>>>>>10.10.10.10/24 2003 Server >>>>> 10.10.10.x/24 Client PC's (WinsK & XO)
Remote Office
10.10.11.1/24 Router (Cisco 800 ADSL)(static global address 195.248.119.2xx) >>>>>>> 10.10.11.x/24 Clients (Windows 2k & XP)
-----------------------------------------------------
I managed to setup the RAS server with a new Demand Dial Interface, and if I connect to it from the remote site using thw Windows VPN connection manager it all seems to authenticate OK.
But what I ideally wanted was to setup routing using the Cisco router, so that I didnt have to initiate the connection, and thus it is always live.
I presumed Cisco's EasyVPN would allow me to do this, but it doesnt seem to connect to the RAS server like the windows connection does.
Can anyone suggest any tips on how I can add the routes between the two networks?
Thanks in advance.
Rigz
