new to avaya.

Exts: 6059 && 6038.....getting a Bz/Bk.....

how do i reset a station? just use reset command?

"reset station 6059"

also, how do i give users access to login to the avaya site administration.

thanks in advance for your much needed help.

At the command prompt do a busy sta XXXX and as for as the ASA you need to create the profile in the PBX first and then the can access through ASA.

Thanks

so the busy station XXXX will reset it it. i dont have to do something to unbusy?

thanks

That will busy station out (reset and then at the command line again you will type release station XXXX

i tried that but i still see the service state as "out-of-service

So at the command line you did a release station XXXX .If the station still reads out-of-service then you will need to verify that the set is plugged in or patched at the MDF.Also what type of phone is this? If it's an IP phone then you may have to do a reset(unplug/replug) on the actual unit.
