Hi all,

I am new to the PABX game and have been thrown into the deep end at my work with setting up a test bench for testing LDK 300 circuit cards.

What I have been able to setup so far is a LDK 300 frame with back plane, power supply, MPB, ringer module. Have been able to successfully test DTIB12, SLIBII and DSIB cards using hand sets and call between the cards. Have been able to connect to the MPB with both serial and Ethernet cables and modify the numbering plan etc (I know all basic stuff)

We would also like to test LCOB, STIB and BRIB cards. Would anyone have a recommended test setup for these cards...

Thank you for any assistance that can be given.

Cheers

Hi

You can test the LCOB card by piggy backing a port from the SLIB card but to test the STIB and BRIB cards you will need an active ISDN2 circuit or an ISDN2 emulation tester. You can check the card registers etc but you will not if the ports are working or not without this tester.

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

Hi Eats.

Thanks for that..

So a loop back test by connecting a port of the SLIB to a port of the LCOB and then using another port of the SLIB connected to a handset call the port of the SLIB connected to the LCOB. Or have I got that ass about.

Sorry for the obvious questions as I said Im new to the PABX game, am a radar / nav aids/ radio tech by trade.

Cheers and beers

Hi

If you connect line port 1 to SLT port 1 you can use another handset and press line 1 and the SLT will ring.

I think!

Cheers
