Setting up Solaris 8 QLC drivers

Hi,

Anyone out there have ANY knowledge on setting up the QLC driver in Solaris.

I have a special need to read varible block length tapes from a Storagetek 9940B drive, but the read rate through a X6767A FCI is only 300kB/s. It is around 25MB/s when doing a TAR.

I know there's something wrong in the interface set-up. And I'm sure there's something I can set in the qlc.conf that will fix it, but I just don't know what!

Please help.
