Setting up second server

I hope someone can help. I have been trying to set up a 2nd Notes server. I followed the directions in the Lotus Domino book, volume 1. Unless I missed a step everything went well. But when I go to the new server and attempt to add it, I get the following messages.
"Server Error: You are not authorized to use this server.
Notes Error: You are not authorized to use this server."

Then I get kicked back to the finish screen. I can see the server in the server documents on the main server.
What am I missing?

I think, this error means what it says. There must be an entry for your user id in the Domino Directory(a.k.a. Public Adress Book))
