I need step by step instructions on how to set up a samba share on a LINUX system so I can access it from a windows network neighborhood. Can any one give me the instructions or a link to find them?

It´s a rather big question. Try this out and come back when/if you run into trouble...
remember these things...
keep the services smdb and nmdb running and look for faults in smb.conf in /etc /Sören
