Hi Everyone.

I have a machine that I will be setting up as a RH7.2 server. It has two identical 60Gb hard drives that I would like to mirror each other so that if one fails we have a backup/stand by copy. Can anyone explain or point me in the direction of a step-by-step guide on how to do this. I have looked in the 'Redhat Offical Installation Guide' which tell you to look in the 'Redhat Customization Guide' which in turn tell you to look in the 'Redhat Offical Installation Guide'... not very helpful. Any help, advice or anything would be very gratefully received.

Best Regards

Andrew.

This was a great help to me:

It was written by Daniel Robbins, creator of Gentoo Linux, although this howto is pretty much generic for all Linux distros.

Once I read through it was actually quite easy. I now have a Gentoo box running a Samba server / NFS Server on a RAID 0 Array.

Just make sure you have a good backup of the data you want to put on the array until you are satisfied with the results!
