Setting up POP3

Hi. I need to set up a POP3 account on one workstation.

I understand I have to click on "Accounts" and then "Account Options" on the toolbar. My problem is that "Accounts" is not on the toolbar. I also understand that GW Enhancement Pack is needed for this option to appear. We're running GW Enhancement Pack v. 5.5.4.1 behind a BorderManager firewall in a multiple server NW5.0 SP6a environment . I enabled POP3 through NWAdmin with no results, but was under the idea that to control staff from setting up POP3 accounts, POP3 box should be unchecked in NWAdmin. But POP3 accounts can still be set up on an individual basis. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing or doing wrong? (Also wondering if I now hold the World Record for using "POP3" the most times in one paragraph?)

 
You need to run the gw enhanced client. Then in nwadmin highlight your user, right click, client options.

Then environment. In there you will have a tick box to allow pop3 and IMAP accounts in master mailbox. Tick that then OK.

Then you have to right click the user object again, mailbox maintenance. The action is reset client options. Wait for a couple of mins then go into your groupwise. You will have the accounts option. Lee Smith

To get Accounts to appear on the tool bar you need to do a hit the road this sets up a remote mail box that you can access when you are offline. This gives you the option to change your seperate accounts such as POP3
