setting up only outgoing account in outlook

hi there i am using outlook
I was wondering if it was possible to set up only the outgoing smtp account with gmail at my work and prevent my work machine from receiving emails?

I would like to be able to send emails via gmail using my work machine, but have the replied msgs download to my home computer, where i have outlook set up for in/out for gmail.


Any input will greatly help

Put a ficticious pop3 server name in when setting up the account ?
