Setting up one digit paging

How do you set up external page where the customer only has to dial a single digit to page over head speakers? Thanks.

Change 1 pool (890-899) to a single number 4,5,or what ever, then add you paging port to that pool. You can't use 7,8,9, or first number in you ext. range.

Then give pool access to your stations

Renumber your page port to 6 and program a button to pick up line 6

Put an appearnce of the PAGING PORT on the PHONES, now they don't have to dial anything, just PUSH THE BUTTON.

I like renumbering the Page Line to 63, and dialing #963, up the right side of the dial pad to access paging. BUT, that's not 1 digit!!

This is what I Did.
I used line 808 for my Page access trunk.
First I deleted trunk 808 out of pool 70.
Then assigned trunk 808 as my Page port in Aux Equipment.
Then I renumbered trunk 808 to 5 in sys renumber.
Then I told the customer, all they have to do is pick up the phone and dial #95 to page over head speakers.
It worked great, thanks again.
