Dear all
i'm a beginner programmer.
I want to make some reports or apllication using Crystal reports 8.5 or VB 6.0, if i'm using an oracle database how can i make vb/cr 8.5 know?
i've tried using ODBC for Oracle, but i have some problems?
should i install oracle client first?

if you know how and what to do in detail, please answer me at oeytjuikiong@yahoo.com, i would be glad.
regards.

Yup.....even though you will be using ODBC you need to install the Oracle client. I believe that during the install path you can elect to only install Oracle's ODBC driver and it will installed the required support. But your probably safer installing the "full client" (app user I think they call it) anyway.
