Setting up newsgroup through a proxy.. Need help PLS

Hello everyone,

I was hoping someone might have some advice. I am attempting to pull newsgroups behind a corprate proxy, is there a way to point MS Outlook or any other Newsgroup reader to use a proxy connection so I can get to the newgroup site to pull the groups?

Any advice would be apprciated.

i at one point in time had a news-cache that would pull newsgroups to the local machine and allow quick access.

not sure if it's the same one i used but

seems to look ok

actually i've found it, i used a thing called leafnode:

http://www.leafnode.org/

but to be perfectly honest it didn't really get used at our site ... most people went and used google groups ...
