setting up multiple connections in a single computer

I was wondering how you can install multiple connection devices (multiple modems, lan card, wireless lan) in a single computer and select which program connects through which device.

To illustrate, say I have a computer with a couple modems, once wireless lan card, and one regular lan card. I want the modems to connect to remote computers, the lan card to connect to my ISP, and the wireless lan to connect to my local network.

Further, I want certain programs to connect to the internet through my modem connection and other programs to connect through my lan card connetion etc...

How can you this? Any software necessary?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

No software is needed.

Just do not set the modem to "dial automaticly" and specify connectoids for your dial-up connection. You may or may not depending on active internet connections at the same time have to fiddle with Internet Options and its Connection settings, but I doubt it. If you have two paths to the internet active, XP will default to the fastest unless you specify otherwise.
