setting up module bays 2

I AM TRYING TO SETUP MY RESORCES ON OUR BCM 400. WE HAVE TWO T-1 (DIDS), ONE 32 DSM AND ONE CTM. WE ARE ALSO WOULD LIKE TO ALOT IP PHONES IN THE FUTURE. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH MY BUS LAY OUT?

Depends on what you mean by a "lot" of IP phones. If you're talking about 40-50 or more, go with a 3/5 split. If going with a 3/5 split, I'd set the modules as follows:

DTM 1 - Bus 6
DTM 2 - Bus 5
CTM - Bus 4
DSM32+ -Bus 2

That gives you one free TDM bus, and you'll be able to add more analog trunks on bus 4 as well.

I thank we will use no more than 45 ip phones. We will us a 2/6 split.

You can bump them up one if you're using 2/6. DTM 1 and 2 on 7 and 6, CTM on 5, DSM on 2.

BCM 400 3.7 is a new system. I have a 32 port DSM SD, 2 DTM (these are newer cards) cards and 4 CLID on bus 4 work fine (I can is trunk line 175 thru 179). The system is unable to enable these cards, any subjection?

Did you assign them under Resources? they won't work until you do.

I slected the appropriiate card type, but each time the status stay the same. unequipped

I also disable the cards before changes the card types. when I enable the card the card status remain unequipped.

What now?

The DTM and DSM Modules wont show equipped until something is connected to them. ie: connect a phone to the DSM. Connect a T! to each DSM.
