I am looking to setup up a simple announcement using a Miran card for a customer on release 7.65,

The customer does not have callpilot and all they require is a simple announcement before the call rings to SCR key on a couple of phones. I don't really want to change to an ACD setup as this would stop the 4 phones ringing at once.
My question is would a Miran allow me to have a simple announcement play and then send the call to a DN number.

Thanks in Advance

A Miran card will not do what you are wanting.

MICD might do that. the Call Director.

What voicemail system do they currently have? most offer some type of menu system setup.

A Miran card will do what you are wanting.

Program an ACD with the desired DN
MAXP =1
NRRT <the MIRAN channel route number>
NCFW < the destination SCR DN you want to send calls>

When dialled the ACD will play the NRRT, then direct call to the NCFW.

Draggaj is correct.

Have you verified that you have licensing for RAN in LD14? Also I don't believe that the Miran card is supported anymore but it should still work.
