I need to set up Master Pages in Microsoft Publisher 2007, for a newsletter. My problem is that I want the page numbers to start with something like 209, but cannot figure out how to change the defaults. If anyone can explain how to do this, I would be grateful. Thanks!

Hi wtmkitty

I am guessing that you have already set up the numbering for your publication via the Master page Menu.

If you specifically want to start from 209 then you will need to do this while back in publication view with the page selected that you want to start numbering from, go to the Insert menu and choose Section and click on the 'Start at' option and enter the number in the appropriate field and click OK. Both the navigator icons at the bottom of the page and your publication page numbers should now be in the sequence you want them to be.

Hope this helps.
