OK here is the problem...

I have a linksys WAP11 and I want to use it to connect to a wireless network that we have next door. THere is a Dlink 1000Ap connected to an adsl modem over there. For some reason I cant get the access point to pick up the signal Even if I am in the same room as the other Ap! How do I configure it so I can extend the network?
Thanks

I agree with edfair, ESSID will definitley cause the situation you are describing. Also, if your having problems roaming and picking up a new signal that is stronger, make sure your on a diffrent channel.
