I am trying to set up my phone to forward to an outside line but running into a dead-end...

My phone as well as our main administrator phone are setup to Allow Redirect: Y.

I proceed to do the following on my phone:
Feature 84
Select line out - I select one of my INTERCOM buttons
Enter Digits - I enter 91714689xxxx (Need to enter 9 then 1 then area code to access an outside line)
Select Line(s) - this is where I'm lost. Any button I select seems to end the whole process.

Reading up on issues other people have had re: setting up Line Redirection, I believe the problem is that my phone line is a DID (I have an extension as do all my other co-workers).

Can anyone help me with step by step directions as to how I can program my phone as well as the administrator phone in order to re-direct my incoming phone calls to an outside line?

Thank you in advance!

need to have a incomming line to redirect...or if your software is 4.1 or higher you can do external call forward...if you have no incomming line there is no way to do a redirect

The software on my company's business phone is 4.1 or higher. I am going to begin working from home in a few weeks and I need to set up my business phone so that any incoming lines to my business phone gets re-directed to my home phone. As mentioned before, I am able to start the procedure on my phone but get stumped at the end when it asks me to "Select Line(s)".

need to select incomming line"as in DID or pots line that is private to your phone" or set up routing and do a call forward"need to allow redirect" off premise...if not sure what i am talking about please call a vendor...
