Can someone run me through the steps for setting up Inetrnational dialing. When I look at the ARS table everything looks correct, but when we try and dial it times out after ten digits. My max for 011 is 18 in the ARS table. It's probably something simple that I am missing.

We actually have set MIN 10 and MAX 23 with a call type INTL. Give that try... hope this helps.

2Over,
Just check that you don't have any other entry with digits 011X which is matching the dial string, Issue the command "li ars rout 9011XXXX(your total dial digits") to see which entry is selected by the ars table for the call. Hopefully, this should give you a start to look at the problem that's coming....

:)

to find out what ARS entry the call is following use the following :

list ars route-chosen x

Where x is the full international number that you are trying to dial.

The switch will then display the ARS entry which it is using to route the call. If this looks ok then check the route pattern to make sure you are routing over the correct trunk.
