Hello everybody,

We would like to set up the IMS in our Exchange to act as our POP 3 mail server.
We currently have an offsite ISP that hosts our POP 3 mail and we have a registered domain name. We have DSL onsite with 5 public IP addresses. We have a multihomed Exchange server (one private nic and one internet nic running through proxy server). We do not have DNS and do not want it if possible.
My understanding is we have to take the MX record and point it to our Exchange Server. Does anybody know how to accomplish this. Thanks in advance.

Is proxy server running on the same machine as Exchange? [sig]<p>Al<br><a href=mailto: atc-computing@home.com> atc-computing@home.com</a><br><a href= > </a><br> [/sig]

Yes it is and all ports are locked down. We can open pop3 and smpt as necessary.
