I'm trying to set up a few hunt groups on a Legend. I'm running into some difficulties. First off, can an extension only belong to 1 group. Secondly, In one calling group, you can't reference that calling group to call another as one of the members. Any insight would be appreciated as I'm reaching a high frustration level. Thanks in advance.

an extension can only belong to 1 calling group
a calling group needs to overflow to another calling group , overflow members can share calling groups from other groups

Thank you for verifying the exension to a calling group. I'm looking at the overflow options and what I want to happen is to have the phone ring at a specific group for 3-4 rings and if they do not answer then ring to another group. When I'm looking at the options, there is Number, Timed and Prompt based overflow. Not sure which one would suffice.

depending on how your calling group is set upped, how many members , logged in or out is what gets you to overflow to next calling group , in number change that from 1 to 99 ,your time is the sec for ringing about 3 to 4 sec per ring, so 15 sec is about 3 rings, you can play with that

ah. okay. Thanks for the information. greatly appreciated.
