I have an existing Fox Pro database that I would like to reverse engineer using the Visio Database tool. It states that I need to get a Fox Pro ODBC driver and to set it up.

Can somebody give me directions on where to find it and how to set it up? I looked at the Microsoft site and it was obvious to me that one existed there. I am using Windows XP Professional and Visio Professional 2002 SR-1.

Thanks in advance for your support on this item!

Go to Control Panel|Data Sources(ODBC). You should find it there if you have XP. If you can't find it, try:

I downloaded vfpoledb.dll from the Microsoft site and put into C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB and I still couldn't get it to work. What am I doing wrong? I can set-up and import Access tables with no problems. Is there something I must set-up in the ODBC?

I may be wrong, but I thought that they should be in C:\Windows\System32 along with all the other DLLs. You may also have to register the DLL by running regsvr (see Help for details).

You should then be able to set up ODBC connections in Control Panel
