I was told that in order to set up a firewall, I must have a multihomed server. I have an NT server with a multiport NIC. One port goes to the internal network and another to the router (to the internet).
My problem is, I cannot get it configured so that my internal host can get to the internet via the port (on the multihomed server) going to the router. I have IP forwarding turned on. HELP!!!

Dave

I would address this issue in the NT Forum. HTheyH
John Durbin

ICQ VFP ActiveList #73897253

OMG, forget that stupid statement. I thought I was still in the VFP Forum. My apologies
John Durbin

ICQ VFP ActiveList #73897253

you need to subnet, each nic must be on a different subnet to route. otherwise the server will not know which way to send traffic.
