setting up domain.com on local computer

Hello,

When I type "

http://www.mydomain.com"

in my IE6 browser on Windows 98 I want the browser to open a local folder on my PC and not actually conect to

http://www.mydomain.com

For example I type "

http://www.mydomain.com"

in my browser and the browser should open
C:\My documents\web\index.html
instead of

http://www.mydomain.com

Is this possible? I've been searching the net for solutions, but can't find any.

I think you need to set up you computer as a server to do this.

I did a google search for "setting up a local web server"
